It has been a couple of years since I last sat down for a conversation with K.K. Downing and during that conversation he said he wasn’t sure if he had another musical project in him. Fast forward to 2021 and he’s back. This time with his new band called K.K.’s Priest who are set to release their debut album “Sermons of the Sinner” on August 20, 2021 through EX1 Music.
I sat down with him today to catch up on everything that has happened since we last chat about music. He dove into a bit of the past, talked writing the new album, upcoming tour hopes, explained where he stands with the Judas Priest today, moving forward with his new band and the message in the “Sermons of the Sinner” album.
