For those of you who decided to count K.K. Downing out once he left Judas Priest, you made a big error! Not only has he resurfaced with a new band called KK’s Priest, the music is on fire!
The first single “Hellfire Thunderbolt” has just been released with a music video that screams HEAVY FUCKING METAL! Not only is K.K. back, he’s back with a vengeance.
The lineup for this new project is Tim “Ripper” Owens on vocals, Tony Newton (Voodoo Six) on bass, A.J. Mills (Hostile) on guitar and Sean Elg (DeathRiders/Cage) on drums. Original drummer, Les Binks, unfortunately sustained a wrist injury, but will make special guest live appearances when the band tours.
What can you expect? Insane writing, heavy, blazing riffage and some kickass vocals powered by manic tempos and that classic throw back to the age of metal that meant something! Get on board now and get ready for some serious metal to follow.
