Avatar is a band I try to never miss when on tour! This Gothenburg based band, is always a guilty pleasure! So to sit down and listen to Avatar – The King Live in Paris today was a killer experience!
There were many times throughout listening that I caught myself fully headbanging and spinning my head around. Anyone who’s been to a live Avatar show knows this is something that the band as well as the audience does, you also know the parts in the performances where this happens. So imagine the shock and horror I incited in my normal workday office setting, even a bit of fist raised action to really frighten my coworkers! No regrets either! Avatar just takes over your body and there’s nothing you can do but follow along!
For a live album, this is top-notch! From the live vibe you hear from all the screaming and cheering fans to the interaction from Johannes Eckerström and the audience. You just want to turn it up loud, sit back, close your eyes and imagine you are there with everyone taking it all in. Having been to many Avatar concerts myself, this performance is the exact experience I’ve had at their shows. It’s always completely entertaining, amazing live music and joy throughout the entire venue.
I loved this live album, it makes me want to see another live show soon! This is one of the most entertaining live bands out there today and a show you should never miss! Go grab a copy of The King Live in Paris today and experience what I just did. Always incredible!
