Canadian metal band Striker passed through Seattle at the end of September to give us a wild night of shredding.  Before their show kicked off I had a chance to sit down in the perfect dark and seedy bar The Funhouse at El Corazon and chat with Dan Cleary (lead vocals), Timothy Brown (lead guitar) and Chris Segger (guitar) about their music and the tour.

After the interview I stayed to witness one of the best live metal shows to pass through Seattle in a while.  The tour consisted of Striker, Warbringer and Dark Tranquility so you can only imagine how insane the night was going to be!  These guys completely melted the faces off the audience and had the crowd fired up and thrashing around the floor by their second song of the night.  It’s been sometime since I’ve walked out of a show injured and I did not manage to escape their set unscathed.  Wild crowd, wild music.

Striker has two killer albums out right now, their 2016 release Stand in the Fire and their 2017 self titled release Striker.  Both with make you want to tear things up and bang your head.  Don’t get just one, get them both.  You will be thrilled to add these two authentic metal albums to your collection.  Get out and see these guys if you get the chance, you won’t leave disappointed!
