As promised, I have some USA tour dates to report on. It’s only fitting that since I am from Seattle that I cover the local scene. Between now and the end of March we have a few great shows coming to town so hurry and get your tickets before they are sold out. I hate to have to report that Soundgarden has already sold out their two shows in Seattle as well as their show in Vancouver, B.C., but you can still get tickets from legitimate ticket brokers, it will just cost a lot more. So who is coming to town and note worthy enough to mention? Down, Rival Sons, Soundgarden, Marilyn Manson, In Flames (Vancouver, B.C. is the closest gig they have), Black Veil Brides, Flogging Molly, and Volbeat. If you are outside of the Seattle area check each bands website, most are touring the USA and Canada now or will be soon.

Rumors are also going wild about upcoming USA festivals that are still in the planning phase but they are coming. Sasquatch! Festival as always is set for Memorial Day Weekend in Quincy, WA at the Gorge. No bands have been confirmed yet and general ticket sales have not started. Visit the Sasquatch! Festival website for more information. SXSW in Austin, Texas is scheduled for March 12-17, 2013. They are slowly releasing band lists and they just updated their site this morning with a new list of bands that will be performing check their website for more information here SXSW Website. Austin City Limits Festival also in Austin, Texas has not confirmed any bands yet and have not started selling general sale tickets. The dates are confirmed for two weekends in October. They are October 4-6, 2013 and October 11-13, 2013. Acts for both weekends are reportedly going to be the same this year to be able to accommodate more attendees to the festival. New England Metal & Hardcore Fest in Worcester, MA has stellar line up this year with Anthrax, Hatebreed, Opeth, and Suicidal Tendencies as the headliners. This years festival is set for April 19-21, 2013. Ticket sales start January 16, 2013. For more information get yourself over to NEMH Fest website. Last festival I have to mention is the 2013 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival that will be touring the USA in summer. Reports have it that BEHEMOTH has announced they will be performing in the festival this summer.
